Laurie and Molly began their journey on May 25th, 2015 in Tempe, Arizona. They will travel 10,000 miles, through two countries, in an effort to raise money for Boulder Crest Retreat for Military & Veteran Wellness!!

Having recently set out on their northern route through the US, the mother-daughter duo have already been greeted by incredible views at the top of Mingus Mountain, near Cotton, Arizona, and while riding past North Rim of The Grand Canyon!
While making their way through Arizona and Utah, the pair enjoyed gorgeous weather and met a number of supportive people while traveling the picturesque landscape. After a night in Ely, Nevada, these courageous ladies rode nearly 150 miles on Route 50, “The Loneliest Road in America”, to Austin, Nevada.
Though Route 50 is a transcontinental highway, long stretches of the road through Nevada have few or no signs of civilization, making it feel like an isolated, lonely journey.

After wrapping up their first week on the road, Laurie and Molly continued to make their way to Bellingham, WA via Lassan National Forest, Redwoods National Park, Oregon Caves, Hobbit Beach, Olympic National Park and Deception Pass State Park. The two will take a ferry from Bellingham, Washington to Haines, Alaska, from there, the Yukon Territory waits!
