VMSI enthusiastically welcomes Lauren Wingate to her new role as Director of Capture and Business Development. Lauren will be instrumental in researching and assessing government contracting opportunities to determine where VMSI’s service offerings and capabilities align with the Government’s requirements and objectives.  As Director, Lauren will manage opportunities from pre-solicitation through award, including but not limited to, capture management, bid (no bid) decisions, teaming arrangements, along with coordinating and developing winning proposals.

Throughout her experience over the past 12 years, Lauren has developed an astute proficiency for identifying and managing opportunities via GSA Schedules, GWAC, MAC, and other federal acquisitions – making her a valued addition to the VMSI team.   She thoroughly understands the many facets of the development process that ensures a successful bid – timing, opportunities, requirements, teaming, proposal writing.  Her proven capabilities bring the ability to identify strategic opportunities, establish meaningful relationships, and successfully manage the proposal lifecycle.

As VMSI expands our presence into Information Technology services via our newest GSA Schedule, IT 70, Lauren’s energy and enthusiasm, combined with her professional acumen will put her front and center to establish the relationships and opportunities that will allow VMSI to continue to achieve our mission, “To be the BEST DECISION our Clients make.”
