December turned very merry and bright in Maryland with the help of Robyn Akins, and others like her, who happily wrapped gifts, signed cards, and handed out presents to the Veterans in the onsite long term medical care unit at the Veterans Affairs Hospital.
Robyn Akins was recently recognized with a well-deserved “Certificate of Advocacy” from the Department of Veterans Affairs, for her altruistic support to the local Heroes over the holidays.
With over 50% of our work force comprised of Veterans, VMSI strongly believes in giving back to the Veterans who protected our rights and freedom.
We are incredibly grateful for all that our service men and women have sacrificed and continue to sacrifice for our country. VMSI couldn’t be happier to have employees like Robyn who advocate for our United States Veterans!
