VMSI is delighted to announce that Boulder Crest Retreat (BCR) is expanding to a second picturesque location in Tucson, Arizona! This expansion will allow BCR to provide support and healing to a larger number of veterans and their families throughout the year with the innovative and unique PATHH (Progressive and Alternative Therapies for Healing Heroes) programs, designed specifically for combat Veterans, their spouses, families, and Gold-Star teens.
With the addition of a second location, VMSI has risen to the challenge and doubled the size of this, our 4th Annual Boulder Crest Retreat Charity Golf Tournament! Thanks to the support of The Golf Club at Lansdowne, tournament players will have the pleasure of teeing off on both the Robert Trent Jones II and Greg Norman private golf courses at the Lansdowne golf complex. In addition to spending the day golfing in the Virginia countryside, participants can enter putting, hole-in-one and other on course contests, as well as win cash prizes for coming in 1st, 3rd or 5th! We will wrap up the tournament with dinner, an awards ceremony, and silent and live auctions to be emceed by former NFL Defensive Tackle, Tony Siragusa!
We have pulled out all the stops to ensure the 2017 tournament is bigger and better than ever before! Thanks to the tireless dedication of our past participants, corporate sponsors, and individual donors, VMSI has contributed over $425,000 directly to Boulder Crest Retreat from the last three golf tournaments! This year we have raised the bar on our fundraising goal, targeting $200,000 in net profit from this one event!
