VMSI personally invests in each of our team members, both local and out-of-state, as we believe it is extremely important to make face-to-face connections throughout the year. These meetings serve to boost morale, present client feedback and provide a casual setting where challenges can be openly discussed. Whether the location is just a short drive from our Northern Virginia headquarters or transversely to California, the significance of these visits lies in the resulting perception our employees’ and clients’ gain of VMSI as a whole.

VMSI’s Senior Vice President, Ken Konkol, kicked off 2015 flying west and visiting five locations in six days! Ken introduced himself to clients and client-facing-employees on the newly awarded National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) contract as well as stopping by several locations in Colorado and Texas for the second time in the last 12 months.

Megan Shelton, VMSI Program Manager, and Ken Konkol recently traveled to New York to visit several client locations throughout the state. First stop on our client and employee engagements was General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service (GSA, PBS) to personally deliver the exceptional accolades we continue to receive from the onsite client. Two of our top performing employees, Brad Edwards and Scott Gebhardt, are continuously recognized for their exceptional contributions.

VMSI is continually motivated by our team members throughout our 26 locations and their remarkable achievements. VMSI strives to bring only top notch candidates on board and after hearing the outstanding comments our clients offered, it’s clear that we have succeeded!
