The weekend of March 18th was filled with big events at Molly’s Irish Pub, and amazing support for Boulder Crest Retreat for Military and Veteran Wellness!! Thank you to all who attended Molly’s Irish Pub’s Guest Bartending Night event on Friday, as well as the participants at Molly’s 12th Annual 5K benefitting Boulder Crest Retreat on Sunday.
The weekend kicked off with Guest Bartending Night at Molly’s Irish Pub in Warrenton, with all tips going to to benefit Boulder Crest Retreat. Ken Konkol and Megan Shelton of Veterans Management Services (VMSI) as well as Dusty Baxley and Sarah Fehrer from Boulder Crest were slinging drinks, and serving up smiles all night long—and brought in close to $2,400 in tips!! Sláinte! (Cheers!)
On Sunday March 20th, the support moved from behind the bar to behind the start line at Molly’s 5K, where 240 runners and walkers came together in support of Boulder Crest Retreat, the Nations first privately-funded rural wellness center dedicated exclusively to combat veterans and their families. The event raised almost $17,000 to help Boulder Crest continue to be able to provide progressive and alternative therapies to heal our heroes. Maith thú! (Well Done!)
