Wreaths Across America is an inspiring annual event that honors the brave men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces. With a mission to remember, honor, and teach, the organization places wreaths on the graves of veterans across the nation. Each year, Wreaths Across America unites communities in a shared act of gratitude and remembrance for the sacrifices made by these heroes.
On December 14, 2024, National Wreaths Across America Day was observed at more than 3,400 locations nationwide. Americans from all walks of life volunteered to place wreaths on the headstones of our nation’s heroes. At Arlington National Cemetery, over 30,000 dedicated volunteers, including members of the VMSI family, laid wreaths on thousands of headstones and gravesites. This profound display of unity and appreciation highlighted the collaborative efforts of volunteers, Wreaths Across America personnel, and Arlington National Cemetery staff, ensuring the success of this cherished tradition.
VMSI, a steadfast supporter of Wreaths Across America, actively engages in wreath-laying efforts and supports fundraising initiatives through its matching program. Over the past six years, VMSI and its dedicated employees have contributed an impressive 364 wreaths, furthering the mission to honor those who have served.
This year marked the 33rd Wreaths Across America Day, continuing the legacy of remembrance and teaching younger generations about the value of service and sacrifice. The event’s growing participation highlights the importance of honoring our Veterans and ensuring their contributions are never forgotten
