VMSI’s Vice President, Ken Konkol and Recruiting Manager volunteered to be the Guest Bartenders at Molly’s Irish Pub – Annual “Guest Bartender Night” to raise money and awareness for the Boulder Crest Retreat for Military & Veteran Wellness in Bluemont, VA. Molly’s Irish Pub is a long-time support of Boulder Crest and has been responsible for raising tens of thousands of dollars over the past few years! Ken and Paul, in true Irish spirit, sported their plaid and camouflage kilts! Joined by Ken Falke, Boulder Crest Retreat’s founder, the three “guest bartenders” raised almost $5,000.00 in tips that evening. With word spreading about the event on various social media sites, tips were coming in from not only those in attendance at Molly’s Pub but from all over the country with people calling in and making tips over the phone! With VMSI’s title sponsorship for the evening at $10,000.00 and the tips the guys raised, all in all raising just under $15,000.00 for the event!!!
