VMSI donates $2,500.00 towards playground
This project, to provide a children’s playground at Boulder Crest was initiated by the Boulder Crest founder, Ken Falke’s youngest daughter and son-in-law-to-be, who requested donations for the Boulder Crest children’s playground in lieu of gifts at their wedding!! The apple clearly doesn’t drop fall from the tree in the Falke family!!!
In addition to the funds provided from the wedding gifts, VMSI and other corporate contributors donated funds to complete the implementation of the state-of-the-art children’s playground at Boulder Crest Retreat. This wonderful playground is located just below the cabins near the 1 acre fully stocked fishing pond.
Many of the wounded Veterans that come to Boulder Crest come to reconnect and spend time with their families, many of whom have young children. This play ground will provide these families with endless hours of playful relaxation and enjoyment!
